    It looks like standing against Obama on Cuba and Iran earned the New Jersey Senator a federal indictment.

    Of course if you support this admin like lois learner no charges will be brought against you. He has been outspoken against this admin and that is exactly why this is happening. To shut him up. Chiicago style politics

    You guys are so funny. If Menendez hadn't been outspoken about some of the President's policies and was brought up on these same charges, you'd all be using him as a poster boy for what's wrong with the Democrats.

    Instead, you are almost defending his corruption simply because it helps you live out your hatred for Obama.

    Speaking for myself, I see the point of the OP as simply pointing out the fact that THE ONLY REASON this became "prosecutable" is purely because of the Senator's open criticism of the administration; NOT EXCUSING HIS ACTIONS!!!

    IOW, if "JUSTICE" were the aim of the DOJ, then there are a lot of cases that they could have been involved in that have been totally ignored!
