Featured What sends people to Hell?

    A. Breaking the 10 commandments (1 John 3:4)
    B. Failure to believe in Jesus

    I vote for both A & B, however Ray Comfort appears to be wrong on this one.

    From the book What did Jesus Do?

    Jesus in the gospels speaks of the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit being the unforgivable sin, and that s a rejection of Him. He did not mention breaking the 10 commandments, He said rejecting Him as savior is the sin that sends one to Hell. It is not often but this is one point where I disagree with Ray Comfort.

    Saying we go to hell for not obeying the Ten Commandments is to narrow a standard and not scriptural.

    If I can only choose between the 2 options given. I say "A". Breaking God's law is why we need a savior in the first place.

    I doubt it. Check out his post on the other forum. I think he is the one who started a thread of communication via gifs only. He uses them all the time.

    Question was "what" sends people to Hell, not "who".

    I vote B. Everybody breaks at least one of the 10 commandments, even believers.

    I vote with Jesus on this one.

    John 3:17 & 18,

    17 "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
    18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

    Jesus said,

    Mark 3:

    28 "Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
    29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.
    30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit."

    What is the Blaspheme of the Holy Spirit. Attributing His working to satan. Why because they are unsaved. They reject the working of the Holy Spirit.

    Thus they reject Christ.
