Some sanity on the McKinney incident

No, it is NOT the fault of the parents. It was the fault of the teenagers who trespassed and behaved poorly.
They knew better. Teens quite often do and act the opposite of what parents raise them to do and act.
This society needs to quit blaming parents every time a kid does something wrong! Do the kids a favor and let them take responsibility for their own wrong, instead of teaching them it is everyone else's fault, and teaching them to disrespect and hate their parents by blaming the parents for everything wrong in their lives.

 

If you have a dog who bites and let him get loose is it the dumb dogs fault? Yes some BUT its YOUR DOG that got loose that you didn't train properly. Parents don't apply biblical applications like "Do not be misled:Bad company corrupts good character." or "The righteous is a guide to his neighbor, But the way of the wicked leads them astray.".

 

I see we are all big on personal responsibility for the kids yet I'm not seeing a lot of people calling for the officer (who is a fully grown man with substantial training) being asked to take responsibility for his actions. Big shocker there. Or maybe the allegations that the pool party started getting nasty after adult women called the kids "black effers" and told them to go back to Section 8 housing or the one girl who was allegedly slapped by one of the women. Yes the kids should take responsibility but by all means lets let all of the adults off the hook.

 

Jedi, kids from great parents misbehave too. Look at Adam and Eve. Do you blame the parent for not guiding them properly?
PS: kids aren't dogs. Bad comparison.

If parents DO NOT rear their children correctly, the parents are certainly largely responsible for their outcome.

 

Nope. The problem of RESPECT was dual. There were kids who weren't supposed to be there. And there was the white woman who slapped the young black girl and then started with the racial slurs.

I sincerely hope that she didn't think at that point, after she and another lady, were fighting with the 19 year old host that her friends were just gonna stand idly by and not try to get her off their friend.



One of the ladies is Tracey Carver-Allbritton. She is the middle-aged white woman who instigated the trouble at the pool. Carver-Albritton called black teens slurs and told them to 'go back to Section 8' housing. She is seen punching the party's black teenage hostess and pulling her hair in a video clip.


Carver-Albritton is a contract CoreLogic employee for the Bank of America. CoreLogic has suspended her.

“CoreLogic does not condone violence, discrimination or harassment and takes conduct that is inconsistent with our values and expectations very seriously,” the company said Tuesday. “As a result of these pending allegations, we have placed the employee in question on administrative leave while further investigations take place.”
