One thing that has not been mentioned is the ongoing and worldwide scandal of UN troops rape and child molestations for decades. US troops should not be put under UN command--in fact, no nations should be required to put troops under UN command.

I remember in the immediate aftermath of September 11, 2001, somebody came up with this observation:

"Funny that the planes that destroyed the Twin Towers never bothered to crash into the UN Headquarters buildings on the eastern side of Manhattan.

"Oh yes, they didn't do so because they knew where their friends are!"
