Previous fines, admissions of illegal or unethical behavior and current trouble with SEC and federal court, combined with his mediocre record as a state representative and senator....I think the definition fits.

Hackery (is that a word?) is not uncommon in political circles.

Both parties and all the sub-parties, have plenty of hacks.

If he broke the law, he should pay the consequences, plain and simple. It is news when the Attorney General of any state is indicted, booked and out on bail.

He's in the Tea Party. Aligns with the far right for his own purposes which is interesting considering that now as Attorney General, he actually has less influence on changes to policies and budgets. He can offer opinions, but only on such things as they come out of the legislature or are challenged in court.

Well it looks like you want to see him convicted simply because you do not like his politics.

Well it looks like you want to see him convicted simply because you do not like his politics.

I don't like his politics or the manner in which he carries himself, but he won the election, by a lot I might add. He has earned the right to occupy the post and serve, within the confines of the law, as he sees fit and I have to learn to deal with it. I want him convicted if and only if, he is actually guilty. If he is guilty, he should pay the consequences. If innocent, I'll be voting against him come primary time in four years time.
