Donald Trump's poll numbers have plunged to new lows after a month of escalating violence at his rallies.

After heavy media coverage of fights at his events and his repeated moves to egg on his backers as they get rough with protestors, Trump is now trailing Hillary Clinton by a gap that would be the largest in decades come election day.

Clinton is clobbering Trump by double digits in five of the six national polls released this week, up from narrow leads she held for most of the campaign. Trump's slide is being driven by women as the percentage of Americans with an unfavorable opinion of him continues to rise. And pollsters believe the violence at his rallies — not to mention his ongoing misogynistic rhetoric — may be scaring off Republican and independent female voters.

"There's a possibility that the violence at the rallies has cut into his overall popularity," said Quinnipiac University Assistant Polling Director Tim Malloy.

Malloy'srecent surveyfound that 64% of voters believe Trump is very or somewhat responsible for the ongoing violence at his rallies. Just 26% of women had a favorable view of him in that survey, with 67% viewing him unfavorably.

And Quinnipiac's numbers look better for Trump than any other recent national survey's — he trails Clinton by just 6 points in their poll. Bloomberg's survey found him down by 18 points as his personal brand continues to erode, with Trump's unfavorable numbers at 68%, up from 61% the last time they polled in November, a staggering figure.

The violence at his rallies is funded and organized by Soros and the far left. Who decides what polls "really matter".

I can tell you what I saw personally. I saw trump supporters standing peacefully in line while across the street the Bernie rioters shouted profanities and personal insults at them nonstop. And when that failed to get a reaction, small groups would cross the street and get in their faces. And as the night wore on, more and more Bernie folks were being bussed in until police had to use force against them.

The left and the Democrats are so worried about the anyone saying anything that they disagree with that they try to shut down any exercise of free speech. The Democrats remind some of the S.A. in Germany.

If Trump is sinking in the polls, it is because of his personal attacks on Cruz and his wife. Trump, a former strip-club owner, is also being sued for fraud for Trump University, a school that taught nothing and charged people up to $40,000 for a diploma.

Hmmm...I did not realize you were so uninformed.

The Establishment on both the left and the right, who want to disenfranchise the millions of Republican voters who support Donald Trump, have blamed the staged riots near Trump rallies on Trump or on Bernie Sanders. That’s like blaming the Russians for the Reichstag Fire. Bernie has little to do with these manufactured protests. This is a Clinton operation, a faux protest.

False flag operations have long been common in politics, but these riots are poisonous to the electorate, intentionally designed to turn violent and stifle free speech.

This free speech-busting goon squad operation is directed by supporters of Hillary Clinton. It is paid for mostly by George Soros and MoveOn.org and pushed by David Brock at Media Matters for America. It’s also funded by reclusive billionaire Jonathan Lewis, who was identified by theMiami New Times as a “mystery man.” He inherited roughly a billion dollars from his father Peter Lewis (founder of Progressive Insurance Company).

A march and demonstration against Trump at Trump Tower essentially fizzled Saturday when only 500 “protesters” of the promised 5000 showed up. Infiltrating the crowd, I learned most were from MoveOn or the Occupy movement. Soap was definitely in short supply in this crowd. Several admitted answering a Craig’s list ad paying $16.00 an hour for protesters.

Of course. if it refutes the narrative your leaders have told you to put out on the internet then it must be yellow journalism. Activists like yourself are so transparent.

Would you like more. The latest polls show that an almost majority of Republican women voters now say they disapprove of Trump and might vote against him. I can give you some links if you do not believe me.

Do you attribute it to your S.A. style street-fighting tactics that stopped free speech that you disliked?

Okay, this has got to be some of the worst analysis of a poll that I've ever seen. First off, the writer says that in the "Malloy survey" (Quinneapac) that
64% of voters hold Trump responsible for the rally violence. The other poll cited flatly contradicts that number:

And the other number is misleading as well:

    Both of the surveys:

In the Bloomberg one (very enlightening on some of the other results), yes, Trump has very high negatives but so does Hillary - high enough that they were supposedly "toxic" years ago. And the other poll claims:

Sanders and Kasich won't be a factor, and Cruz's will probably go up even more considering what's going on.
