This was penned in 2012, but is just as true today.

    BRAVO! BRAVO!

Perfectly explains why folks make stupid threads about the President "failing" black Americans and elitist arrogance.

Idiot nonsense. Jesus told the woman on the coast "It's not right to take the children's food and give it to the dogs." Was he a hater? Was he a hater for driving out the temple merchants with a whip and knocking over their tables with live animals? And who but a hater will do all that judging and declare he doesn't hate? Above all, what kind of hater is Jesus for saying if you believe him you will be saved, and if not you will be condemned?

We just might have been over all this before, though, so no more useless labor here for my fingers. But that's probably a new kind of hate... what do you call it?

To an idiotic letter (and this is aimed only at the composer of that letter, not the BB poster.) Idiotic because it take me and anyone else registered as a Republican and tosses them into the same hate-filled dumpster. I hope the one who originally wrote it feels better with all that vitriol out of his/her system. Stating that every Republican hates anyone who doesn't look the same as he/she does - that's what is disgusting and revolting.

Slightly OT but relevant after that anti-GOP screed, I think this election cycle shows that we are looking at the imminent end of the two-party system as we've known it, and maybe it's good riddance, maybe not. All we can do, as God gives strength, is to walk as our Savior would have us walk.

No it didn't. He addressed the members of the GOP who he believed to do those things. If you don't do those things, then he obviously wasn't talking about you.

Where in that letter does he say every republican does those things?

The writer includes all Republicans when he begins by saying, "Thank you members of the GOP. I meet you all the time. You hate...."

Did he specify ALL members of the GOP? He couldn't have met ALL members of the GOP so how would you conclude he meant ALL unless he said ALL?

For instance, Scripture says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,Rom. 3:23. But a lot of you good ole political conservatives say that doesn't include unborn babies. Yet while discounting them as part of ALL, some of you still stress that something that isn't part of the ALL is a life.:Sneaky

So apparently when ALL is said it doesn't mean ALL. But when ALL isn't said it means ALL.

The type of confusion born of men, not God.

LOL, well the whole thing is just troll bait, but this kookster's post is dripping with hate for Republicans and anybody opposed to SSM and abortion. Fat boy has no idea how people he disagrees with feels or thinks but:

I bet Jesse here hates being called a fat, loud-mouthed slob.

OK, I'm not perfect but I don't hate helpless innocent babies in their mother's womb.

By not excluding any Republicans, he included all. If a P.A. announcer says, "Ladies and gentlemen,..." is he including everyone in the setting or not?

If you have defined your population, or it is inherently understood-- as when we drop the "you" in an imperative statement and say "pass the bread," instead of "you pass the bread"-- then who the predicate pertains to is also understood. In your OP, the raving you quoted only said "you members of the GOP." So he did define his population .

I think it's born of you.

We're not talking about ladies and gentlemen. We're talking about him having specified the ones he's met who do certain things. Folks with good sense know that he didn't mean ALL because he hasn't met ALL the Republicans.

Nice how you so conveniently left off that he further defined his population as the ones he has met.

It's obvious that you think a lot of things and wrongly so.

Who is the father of lies? And Zaac applauds this guile. And then presumes to speak on the behalf of Christ.

But then . . . you guys went and fed the troll.
