    Here is one stat that caught my eye
    The abortion rate of women with Medicaid coverage is three times as high as that of other women (NAF)

    Poverty is an excuse - not a reason .

    Bottom line - life begins at conception - any induced abortion is nothing short of murder.

    I believe the implication would be along the lines of a reason a person might be inclined to get an abortion is if they feel they couldn't take care of a child, and poverty might be a reason for that or part of one.
    (This doesn't mean I believe it to be a morally good choice, or justified.)

    If we're going to discuss poverty, it appears that women in the lower income brackets are both aborting and birthing babies at higher rates.

    It is logical for the two to be in the same economic class.
