When Donald Trump labeled Mexican immigrants “rapists” in announcing his candidacy in June of last year, he lost contracts with Nascar, Macy’s, NBC Universal, Univision, even Serta mattresses. Not surprisingly, his three eldest children — Ivanka, Donald Jr. and Eric — began worrying about whether the marketability of the Trump brand could survive the campaign undamaged.

Worry they should, if Mr. Trump’s new hotel, which Mr. Trump himself opened last week, is any indication. The hotel is on Pennsylvania Avenue, a short walk from the White House, and to a lot of people, just walking through the door seems like a political act. Mr. Trump’s name festoons the key cards, the laundry bags, the bathrobes and slippers. It’s hard not to feel that a dollar spent there is a dollar for the Trump campaign.

“I don’t know who’s going to book it, because it’s so contentious,” a local convention planner said.

On Tuesday, the place seemed eerily empty. You could book a room for next weekend for less than $400. A week ago, the minimum rate was twice that.

Guess you and the NYT haven't heard the untruth about Donald Trump labeling Mexican immigrants “rapists” was debunked a long time ago. [Fast forward to 8:55 to see the above untruth debunked.]

Along with a bunch of other untruths you and the MSM keep trying to push. Stefan Molynuex has made two other videos debunking more untruths about Donald Trump that you and the MSM are still trying to push. They can found on his YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC3L8QaxqEGUiBC252GHy3w

Might be a good idea for you to review them so you'll know which untruths have already been debunked before you go repeating them and looking foolish for it. :)

You might also learn upon reviewing the above mentioned videos that to keep spreading untruths that have already been debunked is one of the reasons . . .

To continue spreading lies after they have been debunked and almost everyone knows they have already been debunked is one reason (a BIG reason) the MSM has earned itself an approval rating less than congress.

Sorry Crabby but taking one word out of context to accuse someone of racism is dishonest. The video I posted proves you and the NYT are being dishonest about what Donald Trump said.

Bottom line here is you and the NYT are dishonest to keep pushing a false narrative.

You seem more concerned with spreading an untruth about Donald Trump than addressing the real problem of women being raped (80%) while trying to cross the border illegally. What do have against all these rape vicitms?

What kind of person are you to dismiss all these violent crimes against women Crabby?

Are you one them misogynists Hillary Clinton talks about so much?

Ah, the liberal and anti Trump biased rag wants to slander Trump so CTB takes the baton to slander a man which is against Christian practice and Biblical revelation. Yep, some illegal Mexicans were and are rapists. Trump calls it as it is. :)

And in doing so Crabby reveals his total lack of concern for the victims of such a violent crime against women. That's just sad.

It's to be expected. The liberal leaders have disregarded the families of those who were murdered in Benghazi due to their lack of apathy and incompetence. They won't pronounce a rapist a rapist if they are serving their purpose. They won't pronounce a terrorist a terrorist if they are serving their purpose. A riot that destroys businesses and loots cities isn't a riot, it's a demonstration.

I don't understand what the regressive left and the "Black Lives Matter" people have against black people that they would do all they can to deprive black communities of police protection and leave them vulnerable to attacks from violent criminals and gangs. What kind of people would work so hard to put others in danger like that?

I do not think you are blind, but I do think you have a great capacity to rationalize and make silly remarks to justify your unjustifiable stances.
