Marine General James E. Cartwright plead guilty to lying to the FBI and leaking classified information to a journalist. He may get 6 months in prison, according to the Washington Post.

"But, during interviews with FBI special agents, Cartwright made false statements that gave prosecutors grounds to charge him.

"Cartwright had White House authorization to speak with reporters, according to people familiar with the matter. However, in court documents, Cartwright and prosecutors stated that classified disclosures to the journalists were not authorized."

For it to sound like they did the same thing, the FBI would have had to say that she lied to them. She didn't and they didn't say that she did.

Try as yall might to make these false equivalencies, there's just nothing there.

Clinton has repeatedly said she has turned over all of her work-related emails on her private server, but the FBI report stated they found 17,448 emails she failed to turn over to the Inspector General.

Clinton told the FBI that she didn’t pay attention to the different levels of classification, and that she didn’t understand that an email containing a “(C)” meant “confidential,” but that she thought they were marked “alphabetical order.”

From the very beginning of her tenure as secretary of State, Clinton signed a non-disclosure agreement acknowledging that it was her responsibility to ascertain whether documents contained sensitive information. She also acknowledged the criminal penalties she would face if she disclosed government secrets.

How ridiculous. After 30 years of government service she didn't know what I, a lowly E2 knew the VERY FIRST DAY I was briefed upon being given my job description concerning the correct identification and handling of classified material at the very top of the list of concerns. Every veteran who has ever handled classified materials knows that she is a **** par excellence.
