Trump picks fossil fuel ally to head environment agency

Washington (AFP) – President-elect Donald Trump has tapped Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt to head the Environmental Protection Agency, transition officials told US media Wednesday, drawing loud criticism from Democrats who warn the fossil fuel ally is a climate change denier.
Oh no! a climate change denier!

Stupid is as stupid does.

Of course we all know that gas fumes and smoke from wood fires is not caused by humans.

From: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/12/07/paris-takes-cars-off-streets-as-smog-cloud-covers-city.html

Officials trying to fight Paris’ worst winter pollution in a decade have banned many cars from the streets in a bid to clear the smog from the French capital.

The surge in pollution is being caused by cold weather and windless conditions trapping exhaust fumes and smoke from wood fires in the atmosphere, the AirParif air monitoring service said, according to the AFP.

Air pollution caused by humans does not necessarily translate to what is now known as "Climate Change" (aka at one time as Global Warming).

Is the earth's climate changing at a certain measurable rate? - perhaps but we must also factor into that equation that the sun is also changing since it is subject to the laws of entropy which is what the real culprit is.

I believe we exacerbate the issue of Climate Change by fossil fuel emissions but they alone do not cause it.

I look forward to the day when we clean up our act as I am indeed a conversationalist/environmentalist but based upon provable evidence and not speculation, hysterics and political greed.

It is more logical to believe that humans are a large contributing factor to climate change than to believe otherwise.

That does not mean we should not try to reign in pollution and lessen the known and unknown problems we are causing.

That may be. I believe we are a major contributor. And, again, that does not mean we should not try to lessen fossil fuel emission.

Leave out hysterics and greed and I will agree with you.

OK but just honestly reporting what I have seen. From the right as well (but not concerning climate change obviously).
