Bless our hearts. Oklahoma Baptists can occasionally make a righteous decision.

In many cases, racism has gone underground. The effects are still being played out across the country. It is getting worse. Law enforcement is getting to be a very hazardous profession--kind of like clearing minefields.

Racism is a part of our total depravity. We may not be born that way, but we certainly have racial training early, usually more covert than overt. There a still a lot of folk out there who want to continue the Civil War. This shows up in their churches.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Oklahoma Baptist University removes Confederate flag and Swastika from chapel's stained glass window:

"I honestly believe that nothing (negative) was intended by that window other than it was to symbolize war and history but I came to the conclusion, as a place of worship and community, it was a distraction that was unnecessary. It was hurtful to some of our brothers and sisters in Christ," he said.

A local artist was hired to replace the Confederate flag with a Christian flag, which is a white flag with a red cross on a blue corner. He said the project took about three days and was done discreetly.
Let's symbolize war and history with the Christian flag. (rolls eyes)

So if Citizens of the United Kingdom are members of that church in Washington, or that attend Oklahoma Baptist U- then all symbols of the American Revolution should be removed as well?
