White House LGBT Pages Disappear After Trump Takes Oath Of Office

Priorities at the White House changed in an instant the moment President Donald Trump took the oath of office Friday as the LGBT policy agenda of the previous Obama administration can no longer be found at the WhiteHouse.gov website.

In the past, if a user typed whitehouse.gov/lgbt into a browser window, a page would appear showing the Obama administration’s policies and results in relation to their LGBT agenda.

However, just moments after Trump became president, the browser window that appeared after typing the same url is now a “transitionsplash” page.

Hopefully they'll roll back some of the damage done at DoD.

I speaking more about the effect of infantrywomen and trannies on readiness.

Ok, but do you realise that president Obama had the Military list Fundamentalists along with radical Islam as terrorists, and that he made sure that no clergy could pray in name of Jesus, nor voice ANY opposition to gay marriages?

What?

PROTECTION OF CHAPLAIN DECISIONS RELATING TO CONSCIENCE, MORAL PRINCIPLES, OR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS. No member of the Armed Forces may— (1) require a chaplain to perform any rite, ritual, or ceremony that is contrary to the conscience, moral principles, or religious beliefs of the chaplain; or (2) discriminate or take any adverse personnel action against a chaplain, including denial of promotion, schooling, training, or assignment, on the basis of the refusal by the chaplain to comply with a requirement prohibited by paragraph (1).

Where God's people are, God is there also. Speaking for my battalion in particular, we include prayer, in Jesus' name, at our post-exercise assemblies.

Under the last President, champlins forbidden topublic praying to Jesus, could not voice against gay marriages, and Christians in ranks not allowed to public speak up for their faith, no witnessing!.

No witnessing when you're in uniform, so witnessing while deployed is pretty much a no go.

I've heard many chaplains voice their opposition to gay marriage. Heck, one chaplain angered a whole slew of people by refusing to baptize them in the Jordan on an MWR trip. Pretty much said if you haven't attended any services these last few months, I'm not baptizing you now.

As for not being able to pray in Jesus' name, that's just patently false. Even the lesbian chaplain from the ultraliberal baptist church prays in His name.

ood for you and them , standing up for your rights! Jus sayingta there are example though where the Soldier lost rank, forced to retire dueto being outspoken against gay marriage, and have bee also told to not use name of Jesus in prayers public, and to stop witnessing, as all religions are held equal.

Would lov to do that, problem is heard tis on local Christia stion, anhost spent entire hour going over al of the cases in Military and Christianity...
I have looked about the internet - need to be careful as there is so much fake news by left, right and in between.

But it seems to be true news and the order to not pray in Jesus name is being suppressed.
No doubt it will be rescinded now.

In fact, almost all pages were gone, for the simple and obvious reason that Obama’s website had been replaced with a new website that inherited the same domain, just as all presidents do. Even if President Donald Trump’s website had launched with mountains of content about issues like gay rights, the Obama pages would still have “disappeared,” and there’s no reason to expect Trump’s pages would share the same URL.

As might be expected on day one, Trump’s website actually doesn’t have many pages on many topics.

Obama’s WhiteHouse.gov was switched to a new domain name at https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/, just as former President George W. Bush’s is at https://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/.

The Bush site shows that when he was president, there was a page titled, whitehouse.gov/kids. During the Obama years, going to that site would bring up the same 404 error as can be seen now. Reporters did not suggest that Obama hated children.

Buried among hundreds of such comments were factual observations like this one: “As a IT professional I understand what happen [sic] to the whitehouse.gov website today. The old site was transferred and a brand new site was brought online.”

In Chapel services - Chaplains can pray as they wish - speak out against homosexuality, ect.

Now, when a Chaplain is asked to give an invocation at a secular event - such as an NCO graduation or other non-religious event - the Chaplain is requested (basically the same as an order) to make it a non-sectarian prayer. In this instance - the Chaplain is NOT required to accept the invitation.

Is it permissible to say "In His precious name" rather than "in Jesus name" and what (if any) would be the objection of anyone for this kind of an invocation?

Thanks

In his precious name... - sounds like a possible replacement.

The objections is that Muslims, Jews, ect do not beleive that Jesus is God - so that could be offensive to them.

Would you object to a clergyman praying in the name Allah, ect.....
