If you think mixing religion and politics is from God read about what happened during the Dark Age.

Our society has devolved to the point that the only acceptable religious beliefs are those benign opinions that can be compartmentalized for private life but are powerless to transform a person. But the truth is genuine faith cannot but influence one's life and politics, and a faith that doesn't isn't a faith worth having.

Or is the problem when politics tries to involve itself with religion.

When religion and politics mix politics is not cleaned up, but religion become dirty. You just end up with dirty religious politics.

Religion and Christianity are two entirely different things.
They didn't have true salvation in Christ. They just had the
religion of man (legalism), the opinions and doctrines of men,
and not of Christ. Any nation that forget's God will always come
to ruin. Our Founding Father's held to this belief. Later on, we
abandoned it.

I love the guy but he was never a Dr.

He was given two honorary degrees. So while he did not earn a Ph.D. he could still call himself Dr. An honorary degree is in no way like an earned degree, IMHO.

He did earn an undergraduate degree from the then unaccredited Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.

In no world should a person called themselves Doctor without an earned degree. I know they do, but that is absurd in practice. I have called out many a preacher that has done this.

Should you call a person who earned a masters degree, Master?

I was turned off of Falwell years before his death. I was on a business trip to Santa Ana, CA watching him on TV. He talked about how necessary it was to make every minute count for Christ while on TV. This I agreed with.
Then he proceeded to use the next 15 minutes begging for money. It would not have bothered me so much if he had not talked about how important each minute was in presenting Christ to others.

I suppose I could liken it to the military - A Cadet spends 4 years at West Point then receives a commission. Or a GI has preformed in an outstanding manner in War - and recieves a battlefield commission.
To some extent - an "Honorary doctorate" is like a battlefield commission. As far as sacrificing time - instead of time spent in the classroom, the individual has spent a good amount of time doing OJT -

If you desire not to call someone "DR" who is the recipient of an honorary degree - I wont argue - but like I said - I have no problem calling him doctor.

He is the inventor of zionism. In other words, the war in middle east is because of him. Count for yourself how many people died because of him. L O T S

Please provide credible evidence to substantiate this. Otherwise I'm inclined to disregard it.

Zionism dates from before WW1. The 1948 and 1956 Wars happened long before Mr. Falwell was on the national scene.
