Lawsuit Against President Trump

Here we go again. Another liberal diatribe manufactured in the "wee" hours of the late afternoon.

Here's how it works.

Every day, right around 17:30 Hours (EDT) a new scandal is "brewing" created by the left wing
and immediately broadcast far and wide.....before real conservatives and the Trump camp are
able to respond.

It makes no difference what the subject matter is. The left will run with it until it runs out of
steam.

It get's repeated airtime over and over all though the evening and overnight. Liberal's hope the
average watcher/listener half-asleep, probably recovering from hang-over, or too juiced up on
much caffeine and can't get to sleep, will be somehow "influenced" and the damage is complete.

It's called psychological warfare, and....just plain lying.

Pay attention to who's listening intently on Capital Hill, and who's scrutinizing the information.

This too, shall fall by the wayside.

I love how you separate real conservatives from the Trump camp. Yes, they are separate entities.

But why aren't the Trump people able to respond? Are they incompetent? Are they at the bar enjoying happy hour?

Nothing new.
Deception is the name of the game in political warfare. Sneaky and sly are the TACTICS used in "any" warfare.
And the "TACTICS" are endless.

Here's an example:
Newspaper headline ~ Republicans refuse to meet with __________ (fill in the blank, democrat servants, constituents, foreign dignitaries, whatever.

Then dig for the missing facts.....Meeting time was changed, without notice given Republicans.....town-hall meeting was rescheduled....no date was set for meeting foreign dignitaries.

Last minute, before the close of the business day, before recess, during recess, lawsuits..well known Tactics of political warfare.

News headlines, is all about planting the seed of perception, full well knowing, a great majority of the public at large, are accepting of "perceptions and speculations" as "facts", and will NOT delve to see if they are TRUE or not.

This particular instance is a lawsuit filed by the attorney generals of the state of Maryland and Washington DC. No last minute Friday at 4:00 pm filing. There is no subterfuge involved. Nice try, though.

My comment included several tactics. Including:

"lawsuits..well known Tactics of political warfare." <--- which has nothing to do with Time-frame....and everything to do with TIME CONSUMING, which should be common knowledge.

Here is your statement, as written:

You are talking specifically about lawsuits filed at the close of business day, and lawsuits filed before or during recess. (My guess is Congressional recess.) The lawsuit in the OP was neither of those things, and even if it were, lawsuits are not sneak attacks, they take weeks, months to play out so it doesn't matter when it was filed--what time of day or what Congress was doing or not doing.

I don't know why this has to be explained to you.

This seems to be a complete farce. I can't imagine it will go anywhere. Just part of the continuous litigational onslaught.

I wonder if the objective of this lawsuit is Trump having to divest all of his businesses in the plaintiffs' jurisdictions, which this non-lawyer sees as a real long shot, or a backdoor attempt to reveal Trump's tax documents through discovery.

They do so want to review his foreign financial dealings.

They will not stop until someone goes down for a process crime.

It does seem to be a bare political attack. What it is not is a new scandal manufactured in the "wee" hours of late afternoon while conservatives are napping, or an attempt to slip in under the radar by filing at the close of business hours, as the OP alleges. Never mind in today's 24/7 news cycle those tactics wouldn't work anyways.

I'm sure there was no last minutes filing, but the left waited until the weekend to release the latest fake news.

My question is would you apply the same criteria to George Washington because he sold goods and crops produced at Mount Vernon to a non-American enterprise?

I do know why you did not comprehend a tactic.
I do know why you do not comprehend tying up a persons time with a lawsuit is a tactic.

Hmmm, so the Trump apologists do not believe in the Constitution's Foreign Emoluments Clause.

“No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

Since foreign guests would pay the same as domestic guests this doesn't even factor into it.
