Trump used hateful language, insults, egged people on, etc. Yes he is partly responsible for all that is happening now. Even GOP congressmen/women are beginning to realize this when it is coming home to hurt them. Maybe they will tone down their rhetoric and pass some rational laws about violence in our society. [Yeah, it is probably a pipe-dream.]

They never envisioned how guns are used on each other in our times. They put that amendment in to be used by the militia ... which is those days was the average American citizen. They never envisioned automatic rifles, etc.

So, Hank, don't come crying to the BB is you or someone in your family is harmed accidentally or on purpose by someone with a firearm. The way you interpret the 2nd amendment ensures gun violence in our society.

Somehow we have to make sense out of the 2nd amendment and pass laws that will cut down on the violence.

In addition the flaming rhetoric needs to be calmed and rational, calm discussion take place.

Please listen to the interview of Glen Beck by Christie Tippett on her program, On Being". I do not agree with many of Beck's political stances, but he is not dumb. Listen to what he has to say. I respect Beck's intelligence, but not to his stances, especially in the past.
