That's too bad. I know he was on the Orioles early in his career but he always seemed like an Angel to me.

I remember my team, the Twins, picked up Baylor in the stretch drive of the 1987 season. He was OK for the rest of the regular season and caught fire in the post season. He hit a crucial 2 run HR in Game 6 of the World Series against the Cardinals. The Twins were on the brink of elimination and went on to win the World Series that year.

And he was also a pretty good manager.

Seeing that Baylor was with the Orioles in 1975 and then the A's in 1976, he had to be involved in the Reggie Jackson trade. Am I right?
