President Donald Trump defended his decision to ban transgender people from the armed forces, asserting that he was doing the military a favor.
“It’s been a very difficult situation and I think I’m doing a lot of people a favor by coming out and just saying it,” Trump said.

He explained that it was a “complicated” and “confusing” issue for the military, but appeared satisfied that he had delivered a swift solution.

“I think I’m doing the military a great favor,” Trump continued.

President Trump has a communication problem. He often says the right thing in the wrong way. But in this case I agree with him. I absolutely refuse to play the game. Because a man wants to pretend he is a woman I refuse to be forced to pretend he is a woman. Or be forced to pay for indulging his mental illness.

There are two genders of people on this planet. Males (XY) and Females (XX). (With some very, very rare, .05%, exceptions.) All the mutilation in the world will not change the XY to an XX. All you end up with is a badly mutilated XY.

Only a moron, or a mentally ill person, would want to pay for that mutilation.

Agree with the policy change but man, Trump has got to communicate better. While this might be considered doing the military a favor, he should have said he's doing the right thing for the troops. He's the commander in chief and needs to sound commanding and decisive; instead he makes it sound like he's barely considered the issue and is backscratching the generals.

Guess it will come out eventually, but I am a NeverTrumper (and never ever Hillary).... that said, I applaud Trump's decision on this matter.

The purpose of the military is to kill the enemy, not to play social justice warrior games.That last I heard, they were going to force women to accept men in their showers and the women were to shut up and take it. Causing strife where none should be present is all this crap does.
