or at least forced to step down from his own company. His crime? He had the audacity to criticize the NFL owners handling of anthem kneelers. And.... brace yourself, this is really bad.... he had recently spoken out against Obamacare and donated $1,000 to Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

If the NFL was on the ticker, where do you think their stock would be right now?
Political correctness is destroying this nation, & the church IMO. It must be thwarted.

It's one of my biggest concerns for the modern Church. For whatever reason, the modern conservative Church has endeavored to become apolitical. As a result they are raising a generation of political ignoramuses and even leftists. I don't want a political Church per se, but it's impossible to separate politics from morality. Most of the moral battles of history were also political battles (abolition, for instance). Now the conservative Church can't even unite over the Supreme Court and abortion. It's sad. And it's the fault of modern Church leaders.

If he would have just had a famous transgender person as his person, and not peyton manning, all would have gone well!

The left knows how & where to imbed their people. They have done it in the education system, which is now practically beyond saving, the courts, & virtually every mayor of every town is a progressive. The church is now being taken over from within. I left my SBC church this year after the convention. They have become kneejerk & too politically correct. I will not support it.
We, the people, have been complacent too long. Trump may be the last hope to save ourselves. Who would have thought?!

Getting back to Johnny getting fired, well maybe the pizza is rotten and nobody wanted it.
Maybe CEO John Schattner shouldn't have been in the TV commercials. Maybe he shouldn't have paid millions to have Papa John's become an NFL licensee and pay an ongoing 12% royalty on gross sales to be the Official Pizza of the NFL. Especially with TV ratings dropping over the past couple of years. Maybe there is a group of shareholders that saw their stock plummet and got rid of John.

Maybe his ouster didn't have diddley-squat to do with his support of Trump. Maybe his comment about NFL players kneeling was a last ditch hail Mary attempt to deflect blame from his mismanagement of the company onto someone else.

Ya think?
