Here in Indiana since the tax cut, we have been emptying out our nursing homes. We just send them to the ERs, which are standing room only right now. It is so cold here that the gravediggers are having to use jackhammers to dig a grave. Actually, if everyone over 65 were killed off due to this tax cut, it might help to balance Social Security, which would be a good thing. When I go to the county senior center, I notice that there are a lot of old people there--mostly women. They just sit around and eat day-old cookies, cakes, and pies and drink awful tasting decaf. I just go because snacks are free for people my age.

Who else supports this recommendation?

Biblical thinking has left the western Church in this modern age. When God created the nations at Babel, the intent was to separate man into cultural communities to prevent the spread wickedness. Yet many Christians today are on the globalism bandwagon, totally clueless of their origins, or origins of the nations and governments. And Paul and Peter laid out the true function of government: Protect the innocent, punish evil. Very important, yet very simple (not easy, but simple). Yet this is rarely talked about, today, in the Church. An innocent baby murdered every 33 seconds, and not a peep out of EWF, FTW or any of the other Christian leftists. Just entitlements and greed. And notice the don't believe the unborn are entitled to life. They believe they are entitled to life, but the most innocent members of our society are not.

Dennis Prager made the point that, in his opinion, leftism and liberalism actually turn people bad. It encourages selfishness, self-centeredness and envy. It takes otherwise good logical people and turns them into bad emotional people. I think I agree to an extent.

Why are the lives of the elderly unimportant but the lives of the unborn are of the highest significance? All human life is precious to God.

So you count as worthless the lives of the elderly as well? A 100 year old woman with severe Altyzmeir's is just as vulnerable as a newborn baby. Neither one will survive without medical support. BTW, my aunt was a 100 year old woman with severe Altyzmeir's.
