Featured Do You Condone Steve Anderson, IFB Preacher?

IMO, Anderson is a demagogue & a quack, plain n simple. We're all familiar with his hooey. here in the USA, he's free to express his opinions, same as we. But we are also free to dismiss what we consider horse feathers. And that's what I do with Anderson's stuff, not just his KJVO lies.

I recently used some rat poison that was 0.3% active ingredient; the rest was wholesome rat food. Within 3 days, it worked.

Same with the teachings of Anderson and his ilk. they teach many truths that people can verify in their own Bibles, & thus, many believe they're teaching the WHOLE truth, and ingest the "leaven" along with the truth, thus poisoning the whole body of teachings. they absorb. I believe we have ample warning from JESUS about such teachers.

The BEST policy, I believe, is to stick with SCRIPTURE as one's final earthly authority in all matters of faith & worship, believing it literally-as-possible & avoiding mens' private interps & doctrines they invent from it.

 

Do you know I never hear a thing about Steve Anderson unless it's posted on the BB.

Robo and I have had this discussion before. Imagine two brothers in Christ debating the return of the Lord. One argues for premillennialism and the other for amillennialism. Both use scripture and are convinced they are right. Neither viewpoint imperils their faith. Both love the Lord and are genuinely saved. The only thing that can be done in that situation is for both brothers to shake hands and agree to disagree in a spirit of love. Neither brother yielded his position.

No, he doesn't PROVE it; he merely bloviates. Sure, he can say the same for us, but CAREFUL RESEARCH proves him wrong.

 

I thought you were a fan of James White --right? He had a long interaction with him a few years ago and it's available for viewing. After their encounter at White's home James spoke of it in several blog posts.

 

Secular issues aside, why I don't trust Anderson at all is because of his admission of WORSHIPPING THE KJV.

What Bible version he may choose to worship isn't the problem. He evidently forgot that the AUTHOR is greater than any of his works.
