I've heard this one before. We'll see. But wouldn't you call doing nothing for 45 years doesn't represent making this a priority?

I've probably posted at least a half dozen times in direct response to you that GOP state legislatures have been making great progress in the past 10 years or so restricting abortions, but you continually ignore it. I know Revmitchell has posted the same thing to you many times. So you've been told at least 10 times that states are doing something about abortion but you cling to your mistaken view that the "GOP has done nothing for 45 years on abortion."

I'm not fighting them. I'm exposing them for the hypocrites they are. The GOP gave us Roe vs. Wade and haven't done anything since then. This has been a very good political move but has done nothing to change the law.

    Actually, it's a simple lie.

    ---

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Republicans who control a majority of the nation's statehouses are considering a wide range of abortion legislation that could test the government's legal ability to restrict a woman's right to terminate pregnancy.

The Mississippi House passed a bill Friday that would make the state the only one to ban all abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. In Missouri, lawmakers heard testimony earlier in the week on a bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks.

The Ohio House is expected to consider bills, already passed in the Senate, that would prohibit the most common type of procedure used to end pregnancies after 13 weeks and require that fetal remains be buried or cremated.

Abortion is a perennial hot button issue in statehouses across the country. Republican-controlled states have passed hundreds of bills since 2011 restricting access to the procedure while Democratic-led states have taken steps in the other direction.

Abortion is a focus of early action in legislative sessions

I agree. After 85 years since the '29 crash and the following depression we need to look back and recognize that the Church simply can't meet all the needs of the poor in America. They can't even match just Obamacare. So everyone who makes the argument that only the Church should be allowed to help the poor just doesn't really care about them. They'd like to see them die and thereby quit making demands on the taxpayers precious tax money which of course must go to increase our already bloated military. There are serious questions about where trillions of Pentagon funding have been spent. We need an outside audit of the Pentagon NOW.

The Bible never mentioned nuclear weapons, democracy, space travel, assembly lines,.... Jesus summarized the commandments as meaning love for God and love for our neighbor. In what way do you think letting people die when we could stop that is Biblical?

I would rephrase this question: In what way do you think letting people die when we could stop that is Biblical? Substitute “MAKING” for LETTING!!!!! You answer this version.
Guess it’s sorta hard to use reason with your head stuck in a non-lighted locale!?!?!? :Redface

How can you possibly equate this parable with ABORTION??
    Are you comparing or contrasting??
I fail to see what point you are attempting - please clarify.
