    I was on a Deacon Board that had to deal with our "wayward" Pastor. Result: After resigning, he went a few miles down the road and started a new "work". I do not know which denominations have a structure to defrock a Pastor, Preacher, etc.

    I regret not notifying the church that conducted his ordination. They might have taken action to annul it.

    That is just dreadful. It makes us no better than the Roman Catholics.

    Never mind 'defrocking.' If there was any suggestion that the law might have been broken, the police should have been called.

    And that is a truth you just said there - you Baptists are no better than anyone of any other faith tradition. You are a sinful people like us who look to the salvation of Jesus Christ just as we do. So climb down from your high horse and join the club.

    You guys are wicked...it's sick to see how you act on this board. First off, we don't even know they are guilty. Second if they are, is it a reason to further your personal agendas off the victim of a raped child?

    We have one member who's not even Baptist attacking Baptist on a Baptist board.
    Then we have another member attacking a church for using the KJV.

    Even if they did do it, it is such a rare occurrence to occur. Out of ten's of thousands churches its way lower than the general population btw.
