What the American people need to realize is that about 2/3rd of the deaths by guns are suicides. A lot of other deaths by guns are when some old guy shoots a home invader in his living room. Rifles are seldom involved as most gun deaths involve hand guns. Knives are a bigger problem than guns.

Guns are nothing more than tools to kill something. You could use a hammer, a sharp object , a club/ Baseball Bat to kill BUT the gun provides for both efficiency and the capability to kill greater numbers quicker & at greater distance. A NUT-JOB could use any means to kill another human being but when guns around, they become the preferred instruments of death. I don't advocate seizing guns, I advocate allowing them for a sane individual & if said individual should have questionable sanity, either they never get them or they have them taken away. If that action had been done, three neighbors (and their victims) would be alive today.

We need a million man (oops I meant person) march on Washington TO BAN MATCHES AND/OR CIGARETTE LIGHTERS!!

3-4000 people per year die in fires in America many of them ARSON related.
