No charges for deacon who shot students in church gun safety class

An eyewitness...heard a loud bang and saw a flash. Other witnesses said Valcius squeezed the trigger, but it was an accident. One witness said he unloaded the weapon and forgot that a round was in the chamber....one juvenile was grazed and two others were hit in their legs....towels and clothing were used to stop the bleeding, witnesses said

Perhaps it's time for the deacon to take a gun safety class.

At the church I attend we uniform and equip members of the congregation regularly for our church militia.

We train members to load and fire the rifles owned by the church.
We have two canons and train interested volunteers to fashion charges, load and fire them.

Oh, they are Revolutionary replica rifles - our church is called Crossing Community Church, near Washington Crossing PA. not far from the new national cemetery.
We proudly march in the front of many parades, local and not so local

It's a unique way to witness to a community that usually discourages churches from participation in public events.

Never had an injury, well maybe a few blisters.
