. . . the psyche of the sexually abused?

If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, [being] in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

Deut. 22:23-24
Seems that if God were consulted about Ford's accusations against Kavanaugh, even if true, He would say, "Shoulda told someone sooner."

Deuteronomy 22:23-24 is about a consensual act one married, one engaged
v. 22 - consensual adultery between married people
vv. 25, 26, 27, - rape
vv. 28-29 - consensual fornication

23-24 is about a forced act "in the city." Meaning, being where she could call for help and be heard. It is in essence saying, If you don't cry for help, its not rape.

I'll amend that and say "If you don't choose to cry out for help, it's not rape."

There's fight, flight, and freeze. Trauma of any kind, including assault and sexual assault, can cause people to freeze just like an animal who when caught by a predator sometimes doesn't move, blink, or cry out.

No everyone is a screamer, kicker, biter, or runner. Some under the psychological trauma of sexual assault freeze.

God knows the difference even if humanity doesn't get it.

The fearful do not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (Rev. 21:8). What is more traumatic. Being stoned for Christ? Sawn asunder? Sewn in bags and worried by dogs? Raped? Men get raped too. (Go to the Sudan and announce you're a Christian.)

Or 'date rape' at a drunken party in the U.S. and shutting up about it for 40 years.

FTR, I think Ford is a liar. I believe Kavanaugh.

Regardless, justice demands, and God commands that you fear not them who can kill the body. One has an obligation to cry out at the time, and God made no room for cowardice. Soldiers aren't honored for revealing secrets or betraying their brothers under torture---(Oh, wait, unless you're McCain)

If God were consulted, He would say justice demands that Ford go away. She has no standing nor right to be heard. She needs to go to the proper authorities, but there's a reason for a statute of limitations.

Bottom line - PRO-LIFE or PRO-DEATH.

If we can end the life of an infant in the womb of what else are we capable?

psalm 106
37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
