Believers need to address this "Spirit without measure" because that scriptura; term is not for the believer.

John 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. 28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. 29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. 30 He must increase, but I must decrease. 31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. 32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. 33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. 34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

You all know that John the Baptist was indwelt with the Holy Spirit temporarily in being that voice in the wilderness. The term "the Spirit without measure" can only be applied to Jesus Christ and that was in regards to Him speaking the words of God. Verse 32 is proof that no one else can have His testimony, because He came from above.

So the measure of the Holy Spirit in context of this message from John was in regards to the words Christ would speak unto us concerning heavenly things; it is not inferring that there is a measure of the Person of the Holy Spirit, Himself, or the infilling of the Holy Spirit as some would apply that term out of context for what John the Baptist was saying.

Believers are always Spirit-filled as a testimony that we are saved so we can testify that Jesus Christ is our Savior.

Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved

For a believer to testify that he is not Spirit-filled and thus a leaky vessel is denying his promise above in regards to our salvation, and thus denying his Saviour as well as his salvation.

There is no having a little bit of the Holy Ghost or a lot of the Holy Ghost in relations to sinning because we either repent with His help and thus abide in Him or we are not. There is no focus on the Holy Spirit when all one need to do is go before that throne of grace for help to depart from iniquity.

Spirit-filled believers means we are saved so we can bear witness of Jesus Christ, the Good News to man.

    Just did.

By His grace & by His help, every time I defend the faith in Jesus Christ, I am preaching the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why ask for a standard that I cannot see you follow? What is the purpose of the question other than to disagree with the OP?

I'm holding you accountable to your own teaching.

What teaching is that? That you are always Spirit-filled as promised by Him as a testimony that you are saved as per Matthew 9:17 which you continue to ignore? Go ahead, since what you are preaching is denying His promise of Matthew 9:17 of His testimony that you are saved.

What about @Reynolds ? I notice you can't say anything to him to prove that "slain in the spirit" is not of Him. That is what you get for believing that spirit outside of you is the Holy Spirit coming into the worship place and in his case, coming over a believer to make him fall backwards into confusion, when He has been in you all along since your salvation.

So go ahead. Test the spirits as the apostle John said in 1 John 4:1 by that line of discernment in 1 John 4:4. You can't.

So the Lord will hold you accountable for what you are teaching, brother, because it goes not to the glory of God at our salvation in regards to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and it causes many to fall away from the faith when their eyes are not on the Son in worship.

You have not come close to proving that "slain in The Spirit" is not of Him. You are seeking to put God in a box. I will readily agree with you that much of the things we see attributed to The Spirit are simply manifestations of flesh, you have not proven there is no genuine manifestation.

Losing self control when temperance is a fruit of the Spirit does not alert you at all to discern the spirits by His words?

Proverbs 25:26 A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring. 27 It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory. 28 He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Falling backwards into confusion when God is not the author of confusion does not alarm you at all?

1 Corinthians 14:32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

How do you discern spirits from the Holy Spirit or can you do that at all?

1 John 4:1Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before. 26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

    1 Timothy 4:1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Feel free to give scripture, but I bet it wasn't falling backwards in a loss of self control..
