I changed all of my devices search engines to DuckDuckGo. It is the only one that does not track you, & is a statement easily made against google, etc. that they are not in control.

you can block tracking using Firefox.

Go to the menu in the right hand corner, click, then click "new private window".

You may discover however that a few sites will not let you in as they want your cookies or you stay out in the rain so just turn of the tracking if you don't care that they have your data.
