Good thing I don't plan to go to any of them. I used to love to travel. Now, if a state doesn't touch Georgia, I probably ain't going.

In the case of Colombia, the big cities are relatively safe but the rural areas are not controlled by the federal governments or the department (state) governments. Mexico is also very dangerous and the American government has warned Americans about all of the Mexican border states especially. For a time Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico was considered the most dangerous city in the world.

I should think Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador Nicaragua, and Bolivia should be on the list also. Is it safe to travel to any Muslim country? I have read that people are arrested in Dubai for looking cross-eyed at the wrong time. Who knows?

Yeah, I thought Colombia was supposed to be doing pretty well. Just had a friend come back from a visit.

Come on up for the Masters. I see you can get a Sat. ticket from $4,700 to $9,700.

Plus you can wear those plaid slacks you've been saving for the return of disco. :Biggrin

I'd like to see the landscape.
I wouldn't mind going when it's not masters week. My friend has a house 200 yards from the property line. He rents it out every masters week and pays for a trip to Vegas with the money. I Don't like Vegas either.:Smile
He could get me in because he is a contractor for them. I would just have to be employee for the day.

Thanks for the heads up Hank... Just when I was looking forward to do a little traveling with the missus and see the world... Who in their right mind wants to kidnap a 73 year old goat and his 74 year old nanny?... And who in their right mind would pay to get them back if they did?... Mexico you say?... I guess the missus and I will just drown our sorrows at Taco Bell... Brother Glen:(
