2020 election--a better choice

Trump was definitely NOT my first choice in 2016. He was closer to the last one I liked from the Primary election. I must say that I've been very pleasantly surprised. While not our "Christian" savior (I think that job's been taken), it came down to Trump or Hillary. I can't bring myself to refuse to vote, even if I don't like either party. I suspect that I did the same as a lot of people do and chose the lesser of two evils.

That being said, I do like what President Trump has accomplished. Obviously he is far from perfect, which he proves pretty often. However, he is pro-life, and Pence is even stronger on the pro-life position. Trump is Pro-Israel, as he's proved by moving our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. I have little regard for the RINOs in office. Beats me why we keep re-electing them. While he's far from perfect, I think he's the best man for the job right now. Who else would you suggest?

 

Amen, Brother. I would vote for Pence in a New York minute. With Pence as Trump's running mate, it was easier to vote for him.

 

2020 - Very simple - A large step closer to Socialism/Communism or AWAY from Socialism/Communism?
Away from infanticide, euthanasia, eugenics.
Away from open borders, Mexican drug cartels, human trafficking.
Away from Sanctuary cities for murderers/thieves/rapists/MS13 to hide in.

And
Back to higher taxes.
Back to record unemployment.
Back to welfare state.
Back to Rocket Man.

etc, etc...

 

Trump has governed as a Christian. I don't care about his personal life.

 

So imagine what will happen if he isn't reelected.

 

Me neither.

I see Trump/Pence. I could vote for them.

Me neither.

I get it. You don't like Trump's personality. Me neither. He's an egotistical bombastic blowhard.

But the fact is that he's carrying out the conservative agenda fairly well. He's appointed (what looks like) solid pro-life, constitutionalist Supreme Court justices. He's appointed a huge amount of conservative district court judges. He delivered on his tax cut promise, bigly. He's cutting regulations, creating jobs, bringing capital back into this country from overseas. He's modernizing the military. He's restoring America's standing in the world. Dictators and despots can no longer manipulate us.

He didn't get rid of ObamaCare, but it's not entirely his fault.

Basically he's doing a great job. There will not be a more reasonable choice on the Democrats side. So far only liberal Republican William Weld has announced his political suicide and decided to run against Trump. Unless something really drastic changes I say "four more years."

 

Actually, I am putting a lot of trust in what Trump is likely to do based on what he has done over the last two years. Based on his track record, I have no problem voting for him in 2020.

 

I've never understood the argument of not voting on principle. You have choices before you, yes you may not like either, but you are not voting on a pastor. You are voting on a political leader. There is a very real sense of separation of church and state. They serve two different functions. Don't get those functions confused.

 

A person that has been married three times, that lost money running casinos, that brags about just walking up to women and kissing them, that says he's being audited by the IRS because of his "strong Christian beliefs", got out of the draft because of (alleged) bone spurs in his ankle, that talks on the radio about having sex with Princess Diana, etc. etc. etc. etc. shows a lack of good judgment. Has nothing to do with being a "pastor of the USA."

 

And tell me honestly, has he done well as POTUS this far? Has he been able to do the job? Again, we are electing a political leader.

 

He doesn't murder children fresh out of the womb.

 

May the Lord bless Pence if he runs.

The point is that he's made some terrible judgment calls. I don't want a leader that makes bad decisions. So far, as President he's been very good. (Well, except for nominating Jeff Sessions for Attorney General.)

 

Then you don't want anyone. Who has never mad multiple bad decisions? But let's be honest, he wasn't my first, second, third, or even fourth choice for the Nominee either. I was a Cruz guy myself.

 

I was for Rubio, and after he dropped out I was for Cruz.
