Omar refusal to respond to inquiries about terrorist recrtuitment

Her unwillingness to respond is very concerning

 

As NCPU hinted, why did Philadelphia elect her?

 

While I can't stand her, these hallway "gotcha" questions by reporters, where they walk up to you with camera running and blurt out a question, don't deserve an answer. Also, she said she hadn't read the FBI report, so how can she answer a question specifically about an FBI report?

 

She in general is very concerning.

 

If she hasn't read it, she should be concerned enough to say she will look into it.

Here's another problem. That was first reported on months ago. Why has she not read the report about something so troubling in her district?

 

I do not care for "Ambush Interviews". Unfortunately they seem to be to get any non-scripted, non-soundbite answer from some of our elected officials. Some refuse to give any kind of candid interviews. On the other hand many reporters have taken to using this kind of interview in hopes of getting an unguarded answer from the interviewee.
(Yes interviewee is a word according to the spell-checker!)

 

I don't believe here, she had heard of this report, that body language there screams deflection. She wasn't about to comment, which means either she's being an arrogant apologist again, thinking the question is "Islamaphobic" in of itself, or, worse, her answer would be that she approves of this. Can't believe this person is still on the foreign affairs committee.
