Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced via Twitter, “We’ve made the decision to stop all political advertising on Twitter globally.
Sounds fair? Twitter already has a reputation of censoring conservatives. And, the Democrat candidates are pressuring Twitter and the other tech giants to engage in more censorship of conservatives.
Every Saturday Night, SNL runs what amounts to free political advertising for Elizabeth Warren (and Hillary Clinton before the last presidential election). So, if SNL banned political advertising during their show, Elizabeth Warren would still get political advertising, and for free, but Trump wouldn't have a voice.
Even worse with SNL, they run non-stop lies defensible only with the excuse that it's just a skit and they don't claim what they say is true. But, people believe those skits. People think Sarah Palin really said she could see Russia from her house. People really believe the anti-Trump lies and the pro-Warren lies told by SNL.
Advertising bans make it harder for conservatives to overcome media bias. There's nothing fair about banning political ads, even if they're banned on both sides.
