Scott Dibble-D, a state senator in Minnesota is a victim of revenge porn after a former intimate partner sent explicit images to Dibble’s colleagues in the Minnesota legislature. Dibble's husband of 11 years, Richard Leyva, has pledged to stand beside him.

State Sen. Susan Kent, assistant minority leader
said, “He works so hard, he fights for people all the time, and for someone to turn around and do this after a consensual adult interaction is just really unfortunate.”

“It happens that he’s a public person and so it gets attention,” she said. “But this can happen to anybody, and it has happened to a lot of people and it just shouldn’t.”

State Sen. Scott Dibble says he's the victim of a revenge porn scheme
-------

The lesson from Minnesota Democrats is that if you have sex, er, "consensual adult interaction" with someone other than your gay spouse, you could be a victim of revenge porn, as it can happen to anyone.

...yes, thus making us all the victim here.
Agreed. I posted a cartoon which showed all manner of debauchery coming toward someone who was holding up the cross against it. It was promptly deleted. I don’t see the difference of a visual used over this type of thread being allowed. Maybe I’m missing something. I can’t read the OP without forming that same visual in my mind. Thanks.

It appears the revenge porn part of the judgement was for $10,000 (for one topless photo posted on Facebook) and the libel and alien of affection portion was $3.2 million.

Yeah, I believe alienation of affection laws aren't very prevalent throughout the US.

In answer to the title - no it can't happen to anyone. There are no pictures of me naked except the one my mother took when I was about 8 months old laying on the diaper changing table.
