    Kingsford man turns 900 lb pumpkin into a boat

    KINGSFORD, Mich. (WLUC) - You may remember the Kingsford man who was showing off his 900 pound pumpkin during a live report on TV6 Halloween night.

    Cole Smith made good on his promise to cut the pumpkin in half and turn it into a boat.

    Damariscotta, Maine has had a pumpkin-boat "race" (most entrants fail to finish) for the past few Octobers.
