"Our objective as Libertarians has never been to get more votes or to put people in public office. That's never been the aim of the Libertarian Party. The aim of the Libertarian Party has always been, from the very beginning, the achievement of a free society. Getting into public office is the means to do that, it is not the end." - Jacob Hornberger

You have fulfilled your objective of not getting people into office! :Alien:Alien:Alien

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said Sunday that if House Democrats refuse to bring in the “whistleblower” during their impeachment hearings, “this thing is dead on arrival in the Senate.”

Poor old Lindsey has lost all credibility since he changes his mind almost daily. There is no need in bringing the whistle blower in since ALL of his charges have been verified by other people much closer to the extortionist Trump.

That's Democratic candidate. Just like one says "Republican candidate", not "Republic candidate".

The Democrat party is not democratic. I don't want to mislabel them. I apologize for using the word "Libertarian" to refer to the Libertine party, except if I referred to them properly, people might not have known to whom I was referring . That's not an issue with the Democrat party..

If you want to keep on appearing to be uneducated, then continue on as you have been doing. :Rolleyes

The Senate will not convict Trump. Period. In my opinion, there is no way there are enough GOP Senators who will place the country over Trump.
Yes, thankfully, the Reps have the good sense to counter the madness of the Dems, should they inanely go through with impeachment, a very doubtful prospect, as there is no case against Trump, other than what the Dems have imagined and manufactured.

Well, your attempt at a grammar proof demonstrates it ain't really apples to apples. Democrats vs Republicans. Democracy vs Republic. The Dems may prefer the "-ic," but their behavior doesn't warrant it. The Jackasses should just be glad we don't constantly call them by their adopted mascot symbol; and you needn't care, except that you so closely align with them, or so often take their side.

Impeachment is a political process, not a criminal law process.

“The subjects of its jurisdiction are those offenses which proceed from the misconduct of public men, or, in other words, from the abuse or violation of some public trust. They are of a nature which may with peculiar propriety be denominated POLITICAL, as they relate chiefly to injuries done immediately to the society itself.” - Alexander Hamilton, Federalist Paper No. 65
The Constitufion says crimes.

Of which bribery is one. But feel free to argue with the writings of the Founding Fathers.

Amigo, you are off base on this one. Several people have cited the legal qualification that requires the recipient of foreign aid to be free of corruption. Now that could never happen in the Ukraine as that is not a real country but a collection of shady characters with Swiss bank accounts. But if anyone was bribed, it was Obama who told Ukraine that unless they fired their prosecutor he would withhold aid to them at the request of Joe Biden, father of Hunter Biden who was discharged from the Navy for cocaine use but who sat on a board of directors in the Ukrainian natural gas industry and was paid 50k a month.

We know all this because Biden said it on television at the Council on Foreign Relations where the swells of both parties trade horses and other things.

If so, it wouldn’t be the first time in my life. :Unsure

No, seriously, look at the Biden video and you can see that he implicates Obama in the firing of the prosecutor. Biden is a creep. He disrespects women and girls by putting his greasy hands all over them.

I will not vote for Biden. Not going to vote for anyone older than me in 2020, and I’ll turn 65(the Lord willing) a few days after the general election. Time for some folks younger than retirement age to be in charge.

Well, I am 78 so you sound young to me. I am trying to tell you that Trump did nothing wrong but Biden really did a quid pro quo and walked away. Of course, Biden is a creep who can't keep his hands off women and girls.
