I am trying to tell you that Trump did nothing wrong but Biden really did a quid pro quo and walked away.
I see no point in debating if one person is better than another when we look at the overall condition of mankind. We are all fallen, wretched, miserable creatures. As the old hymn says, “Would He devote that sacred head for such a worm as I?”
“What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one." "Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive." "The venom of asps is under their lips." "Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness." "Their feet are swift to shed blood; in their paths are ruin and misery, and the way of peace they have not known." "There is no fear of God before their eyes."” - Romans 3:9-18 ESV
The main problem with politics is that we as fallen people are choosing other fallen people to rule over us. Our rulers come from among us. They don’t come from outer space. They come from our churches, our schools, our communities. As Shakespeare put it - “The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars / But in ourselves, that we are underlings.” (Julius Caesar, Act I, Scene III, L. 140-141).
