CBS reporter Major Garrett said Sunday that President Donald Trump’s overall record with minorities was one that any third-year president “would want to claim.”

Garrett was part of a panel discussion on CBS’ “Face the Nation” addressing some of the most under-reported stories of the year, and he counted among them the major inroads the Trump administration had made in promoting an agenda that was good especially for the black community.

Whatever. He still cites the Charlottesville myth and blames Republicans for discrimination and unfairness to minorities. It's like saying pork is bad for you, but I like bacon.

Yes, he had to make the necessary disclaimers to keep from being shouted off the set before even making his statement.

No doubt he wishes the Dems were achieving those results instead. After all, minorities are a significant segment of their support.

Trump's eating their lunch. (I like pork but tend to avoid bacon. :Wink)
