David was also firstborn, as in rank and authority in his own family!

I have asked you scores of times to back up what you are charging the NIV with. I should be demanding you by this late date. You're cowardly. You need to simply produce NIV texts that prove any of your allegations are true. You have always avoided doing so because you know that you have no truth in you. It is inconvenient for you to document your absurd charges.

    1) Show me any text from the NIV in which women elders and pastors are advocated.
    2) Show me where the text evidences that women, not men should be heads of homes.
3 )Show me where there is a blurring of gender roles from the NIV text.

All three are bold-faced lies about the NIV, yet you have been promulgating them for 15 years. You are a professing Christian who is perfectly comfortable with lying about these things over and over again. No one here would dare say these things about the NKJV --they would be booted off the forum fast. But the NIV has become the whipping boy. You have been allowed for years on the BB to say any kind of false filth about it and there are absolutely no consequences for your conduct. Yet NIV is as guiltless of your accusations as the NKJV is. It's just as sinfully absurd to accuse the NKJV of those three things items you have been bringing up for a decade and a half as it is to charge the NIV of the very same thing.
As for showing links (most of which are pure junk, and most which have nothing to do with your accusations) --forget it. You are the one responsible for what you have irresponsibly been doing. There is no one else is to blame but you. You are an adult chronologically. It's up to you to establish the truthfulness of what you have been saying for 15 years. You can't because there are no places in the text of the NIV which lends credence to anything you have been repeating endlessly.

No text in the NIV backs you up? that equals = No truth in your reckless claims.

I know your routine. You will not address anything I have presented here. You'll quote it in full. But you will ignore the content. That's what you always do. There is no point in quoting someone in full and yet ignore the content of their post.

I still can't believe you said the above. You have to have a memory hole. The following is what you said regarding the NLT on 12/29/2018 : "Its like reading the NIV edition, but even more gender inclusive."

    Ancestor
    NIV : 9 times
    NLT 437

    Father
    NIV : 1231
    NLT 949

    Men
    NIV : 1080
    NLT 960

    People
    NIV : 2717
    NLT : 3649

    Person
    NIV : 324
    NLT : 463

I have shown to you the Bible researcher, Committee on Guidelines for male and females in Bible yada yada, yet you are the one that just ignores any bad press on the Niv 2011, not me!

Your links are bogus. You rarely read them. Most of the time they have absolutely nothing to do with your inane charges. None have said the specific things you have charged the NIV with. You are too lazy to man up and cite particular texts of the NIV that support your irresponsible accusations. If your allegations are not found in the text, your charges are lies. When will you accept responsibility for what you have been doing for the last decade and a half? You're a hypocrite because your own pastor preaches from the 2011 NIV. If what you have been accusing the NIV of means so much to you why have you remained in that church? Why sit under preaching that supports your claims that the NIV promotes :

    a blurring of gender roles
    women as pastors
    women as elders
    women as heads of households
    caving to a feminist agenda

    Ad infinitum...

The Niv 2011 was an inferior revision of the 1984 edition....

Not only should you stop lying, you should never, ever, quote an entire post of mine and make a reply that has nothing to do with my post. Grow up and deal with your responsibilities.

Many Christians would see the 1984 superior to the Niv 2011, believe it or not!

Y-1, read my posts #103 and #106 carefully and thoughtfully. I have spoken plainly. I have asked for 15 years, ever since the TNIV was out --to stop lying about the NIV. It increases your sin every time you make such wicked charges against it. If I was standing in front of you I would place my hands on each of your shoulders and look you directly in the eyes. And I would tell you not to avert your vision. "You need to stop your evil campaign. Your testimony has been compromised. A Christian has to be known for their honesty. You have to get right with God. It has been way too long."

All the untrue nasty things you have been saying about the NIV might as well have been said about the NASB, NKJV, CSB or NLT. Because none of your evil speech can be applied to the NIV or any of the other versions I mentioned. Your speech would be just as false. You've got to come clean sooner or later, but a decade and a half is a big chunk of time.

Don't try to sidetrack and ignore the content of this and the other two posts I asked you to look at.

Why is pointing out the mistakes of a translation committing sin, they were not inspired as the originals correct? You sound just like a KJVO defending the Kjv here in regards to the Niv 2011!

The "mistakes" that you are "pointing out are in fact lies from your keystrokes.

You have said repeatedly that the NIV promotes :
    A blurring of gender roles
    Women as elders
    Women as pastors
    Women as heads of households
    Feminist material
    Caving to a feminist agenda

All seven of those charges are pure, unadulterated bunk. None of these can be
supported by any text of the NIV. You know it. But many of the folks who have seen those ridiculous allegations
of yours can be misled by your continual nonsense.

As President Trump has said : Read the transcript. In your case read the text of the NIV. None of those items can be found in
the NIV. If you can be honest for once it would do your soul a lot of good.

I have pointed out the outrageous lies you have been making for 15 years about the NIV. None of which can be supported by any passage from the text of the NIV. If your inane and untrue statements are not found in the NIV then you are guilty of misrepresenting it with no repentance on your part.

You are the Adam Shifty Schiff of the BB. He made up a fable and attributed the entire thing to President Trump. President Trump said simply "Read the transcript." That's what I'm telling you to do. Read the text of the NIV --none of your lies about it can be found within its pages. This is a black and white issue. If it's not in the text, you have been lying. There used to be rules the about making false statements about Bible translations. Unfortunately you've been skating scott free with no consequences.

As bad as Shifty Schiff is, he at least acknowledged his reading was a parody. But you have not even come close to admitting that you made things up. If your stance is that your words are just a parody, then I would tell you not to make a mockery of God's Word.

Do you see any mistakes or errors done to the Niv when it was revised in 2011?

Y-1, you have said you had your sons use the NLT as your translation of choice for them when they were young. Does it bother you in retrospect that the NLT has been a rather dynamic version --much more than the NIV? And it uses, as you can see from the chart above, more inclusive language. Somehow your critical eye did note the obvious in the past. Thankfully you haven't trashed the NLT with lies as you have done with the NIV. Although it makes one wonder why. Do you now regret that your sons used the NLT and were possibly tainted with feminism as a result? Or you have no regrets possibly because it was a fine translation. If the latter, to be consistent ---you need to recant your horrible statements regarding the NIV. Hypocrisy is a bad disorder.

Personally, I appreciate the NLT and its various editions very much. It has been a blessing to the church like the NIV for it's clear language. The translation teams for both translations have been top-notch Bible scholars.

I think that the Nlt was appropriate for them to read and use while younger, but now they have graduated unto the esv, and then to hopefully the Nas!

Do you recognize your hypocrisy? The NLT uses more functional equivalence than the NIV, and it uses a lot more inclusive language. How do you square that with your barrage of lies against the NIV for supposedly doing all sorts of genderbending and switching of roles between men and women? Of course the NLT bears no guilt in that regard just like the NIV. Yet you rant on against the NIV with your constant misrepresentations. Again, read the text of the NIV yourself. Don't depend on links. Man up. Do your own investigation. Be honest. Your allegations against it have been 100% false for 15 years! If it's not in the text it does not exist. Confess your wrongdoing. Come clean at long last.
