"The Democratic National Committee has taken its stand, and it’s against orthodox Christianity. It passed a resolution in August calling for the Party to be more inclusive toward non-believers. On its own that’s not remarkable. But the document also strongly denounces Christian belief and action.

    The key paragraph:

' Those most loudly claiming that morals, values, and patriotism must be defined by their particular religious views have used those religious views, with misplaced claims of “religious liberty,” to justify public policy that has threatened the civil rights and liberties of many Americans, including but not limited to the LGBT community, women, and ethnic and religious/nonreligious minorities …'

The party’s hostility toward Christian beliefs and values was clear enough before. Putting it on paper this way, however, raises the message to another level."

Not surprising, as they actually voted down resolution to agree in God, but that got put into platform last election despite being shouted down!

I cannot believe that anyone who professes the name of Christ can vote for any Democrat

The problem is the future of Christianity and the Democrats looks like false Christian Pete Buttigieg and his commitment to the "Christian faith."

Democrats are hostile to religion if it rejects modernity. Been that way a long time, including President Obama.

    From the article:

Again, though, this isn’t just about religion. It’s about Dems’ entire view of reality — a view that in many ways stands directly against a biblical view.

Christianity gets criticized for aligning with the Republican Party. I’m not comfortable with that myself. There’s great danger in tying ourselves to any political group. But what choice do Democrats leave us now? There are only two major parties. One of them has made its stand. It’s against us. We can’t vote Democrat and hold to our Christian values and beliefs.

Let me repeat that: We can’t vote Democrat and hold to our Christian values and beliefs. That doesn’t mean we have to agree with everything our president does. It doesn’t even mean we have to be Republicans. But for all the options seemingly open to Christians, one of them is shut tight, at least for now — by Democrats’ own decision.

You know it used to be that you could vote Democrat depending on the candidate. But now, if they are a Democratic candidate I have severe questions about them in general. This Democrat party is new and radical.

That's right. They hate our Constitution as well. The say it says things it doesn't say, and says it doesn't say what it really says. The Democrat Party ought to be outlawed, it has no social redeeming value to the nation.

Progressive democrats just means progressively more evil democrats.

2 Timothy 3:12-15 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,
15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

    AMEN!!!
Just look at their platforms; no question who their Daddy is!! "The Democratic Party is the party of Satan."
1 Abortion, INCLUDING post birth (Most reasonable folk would say "murder")
2 Any, ANY type of $exual perversion
    3 Open boarders
    4 Anything anti-Christian or anti-american
5 Lying & deception or whatever to achieve their goals
    6 Yada, yada, yada
    :Cry:eek::Devilish:rolleyes::oops:
I fail to understand how any one claiming (legitimately) to believe in Christ can vote FOR any part of the platform the dems have.

By the way, Humpty Dumpty, welcome to BB!:Thumbsup:Thumbsup

Agreed. Standing for the murdering of children in or out of the whom is the purist form of sin and doing the devils work.

Thanks for the welcome. Nothing like opening up with a splash!

I love this statement ... on the one hand you indicate that you support the constitution. Then you close by stating your support of breaking the right of free speech by outlawing it! So what government do you actually want?

Yep it’s the voice of the crazies who we should be defending and standing up for. Even if it violates our views, we shouldn’t support imprisonments due to political views.

But one could argue that the Democratic Party has been guilty by association of mass murder via abortion support.

So then, free speech is to be made illegal?

No. How in the world did you draw that conclusion out of my post? I was arguing for defending people’s views that are different than mine. Which would be total support for free speech...

If it is related to what I posted about abortion, abortion isn’t free speech, it’s murder, period. Killing babies in the womb denies the baby it’s rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Also denies said baby it’s first amendment right. So legalizing abortion is a “law” that violates the supreme law of America that includes Gods law, which makes it not a law, but a ruling from man. Should be null and void. Legal abortion makes free speech illegal.

I did vote for a Dem in the 2019 election. It was a local election - and he was much better than the Rep candidate. Unfortunately our Conservative Party candidate ended up endorsing the Republican - whom he shot down in every way possible during the primary. Both had primaried for the Rep and Conservative party lines.

Now, at the State or Federal level, I do not see currently, how I could vote for any Dem.

BTW, I plan to have lunch with that Dem candidate in the near future and chit chat with him.
will try to keep you posted.
