Interesting that the children don't seem to be catching this?
Most fatalities are in older people.
Are Chinese people more likely to die?
Why is this spreading mostly among the Chinese.

I'm sorry, but that is a 'Duh' question.

It's spreading mostly among the Chinese because it started in China --Wuhan city to be precise. The totalitarian regime
has made it a great deal worse by underplaying how serious the catastrophe is. They refused help of any kind for too long.
True whistleblowers (not of the Eric CIA kind) are endangering their lives by speaking out on what's really going on.

It jumped though supposedly from animals to humans and those first humans infected would have initially been few in number, just like we are seeing in other countries now. And from those few in China is now 70,000 confirmed. The other countries have not had that much medical intervention, just as when it took off in China, but it just has not grown parabolically here whatsoever.

Whatever figures yo are hearing from China, don't believe them. First of all, it's impossible to track down all deaths and to test all who think they have been infected.

These are tragic times in China. I won't itemize things at this time. A very sobering video running almost 58 minutes is on "Serene Christine's YT channel aired on Feb.15. Since it is telling the truth it may soon be taken down. Tears will fall if you submit to watching it.

China is not exactly known for its government's honesty. We will probably never know how many people in China have been infected with the coronavirus. I am more confident in the efforts of other countries in isolating and treating the virus. It really is an amazing thing to watch. The virus is still going to spread but at least at-risk nations have bought some time. Like with influenza, the most effective things individuals can do is to wash their hands often and never touch their eye, mouth, or nose after coming in contact with other people or surfaces that may be contaminated. So far, the same people that are at risk for complications from the coronavirus are the same people who are at risk for complications from influenza.
