California proclaims everyone will become infected. What I read is they think if they can draw it out more slowly, the hospitals wont be temporarily so overwhelmed they cant deal with it. That makes the epidemic last a lot longer than if it could burn its way through the population quickly.

Simply they need to figure out if Chloroquine is good to use, (as in proven in their minds), then start prophylactically giving it to vulnerable people ahead of time. If you can head it off before they get sick, then it will go away soon. I would be willing to take it before I got sick. One easy way to show it works that way, give it to the doctors and nurses and see if they dont get sick.

 

The problem is, HCQ is a political football. It's now the Trump Treatment and therefore despised. Doctors with Trump Derangement Syndrome are perhaps the most dangerous people on earth right now (though I trust the vast majority don't have it).

And the vast amounts of fake news about the dangers and side effects of HCQ are off the charts. Dr. Oz has been exposing this. Very thankful for him.
