Churches closed. Abortion clinics open.

In Florida, both Churches and Medical facilities are classified as “Essential Services” and permitted to be open during the mandatory business closings. The issue locally is “assemblies over 10 people” which is for all places, but is more of a problem for Churches than Clinics (including Abortion clinics). The other issue is that most churches have voluntarily CHOSEN to close to protect their people, especially their elderly members.

A mega-Church in Tampa that refused to close posted $500 bail for the pastor pending a court case that has a maximum penalty of a $500 fine for violating the 10 person limit on assemblies. So the reality is that churches could afford to violate the ban on more than 10 people and pay the fine if they chose to do so.

Abortion is horrific, but there is really nothing happening here.

maybe not in FLA but elsewhere
including a legal RESURRECTION DAY worship service
but a legal murder of a child - that's OK (in FLA too).

From your prospective(as is mine) it is the deliberate murder of infants and it an abhorrent sin. But it is not the mindset of most of the women still seeking abortions. Tell me truly, what have you done to change there understandings?

In South Carolina we can still attend church. I do not know of any open for congregational worship, though. But I go to church in Georgia.

I would be far more concerned over what happens to us due to abortion mills then Covid 19!
That is why I can never fathom a Christian voting for a Dem. This life is a blink of an eye.......eternity, not so much.

Dem Platform declares God is dead, babies can be murdered, and legalize sodomy, so why should a Christian ever support one of theirs for office?

I was told by an attorney that the Georgia ban has no prosecution provision for churches in it.

not correct.

what difference does that make?
Because if I was a young girl and pregnant with nobody to confide in except maybe the father who wants me to rid both him and her of this pregnancy / problem then I just want the advice of someone prepared to help me see a way out. Far to many of these girls are seeking guidance.
