    Wow. This guy has gull.

    Tuberville had a great response:

@JeffSessions is so desperate, he told @realDonaldTrump to thank him for the immoral & unconscionable Russia investigation! The only people who seem to agree are Democrats. Help me keep him from “helping” President Trump (and the Democrats) again here!

Politicians like Sessions scare me the most. They walk a line between deception and delusion. Sessions would be more on the delusional side, but if they he really believed he had to recuse, he should have immediately resigned and allowed Trump an active AG. Instead he held on to the bitter end. That's the deceptive part.

Sessions may be right about Tuberville, and even about his giving advice after recusing. The problem was in recusing himself in the first place. He played the gentleman to the devil's advocate, thus leaving Trump wide open. He never should have taken the AG position, if he wasn't determined to take on the swamp at every turn, and that was a huge one. I don't blame Trump for not trusting him anymore.

    Trump put it well:

"Jeff, you had your chance & you blew it. Recused yourself ON DAY ONE (you never told me of a problem), and ran for the hills. You had no courage, & ruined many lives. The dirty cops, & others, got caught by better & stronger people than you..."

It was Session's recusal that set the whole mess we have had to endure in motion. Rod Rosenstein then took over and he quickly signed off on a "Special Prosecutor" that was not needed because there was no Russia/Trump collusion.

Sessions is polling over twenty points under this Tuberville person. I always thought Sessions was a much better senator than an AG, his recusal was puzzling, wonder if Deep State had the goods on him. Sessions also led to the Roy Moore fiasco by taking the job and leaving that senate seat open for Doug Jones to worm his way in.

IMO he chickened out when the globalists threatened him - to expose him with whatever they had on him real or imagined.

Delusional and pathetic were the two thoughts that came to mind when I saw Sessions in his first campaign ads, wearing a MAGA hat and touting himself as a close Trump alli.
I would appreciate seeing a honest appology from Jeff Sessions whereby he admits to having botched things as attorney general then drop out of the race and support Tuberville. Personally, in the primary race I was disappointed and surprised that Bradley Byrne didn't make it to the run off. Football coaches like Tuberville are entertainment celebrities, and I don't know if he would be any than having Captain Kangaroo in the senate.
