President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced that Republicans would seek to move the 2020 Republican presidential convention from North Carolina to another state.

“Because of Gov. Roy Cooper, we are now forced to seek another State to host the 2020 Republican National Convention,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

Trump: Gov. Roy Cooper Forcing to Move Convention Out of N. Carolina

This is a good sign that the Democrats realize that Trump will be re-elected and so they are withdrawing normal American hospitality. Bitter people facing another bitter defeat.

They are welcome to move it to Arkansas. GOP money is as good as any other money, and we'll be glad to receive it.

I see reality is foreign here. Little Rock can't accommodate the convention. Besides, Trump wants a convention is a swing state, which Arkansas ain't. And we all know that it's all about Trump, not anything else.

So following a strategy that has been common in both parties for decades (having the convention in a swing state), in a year when the incumbent POTUS will be renominated like nearly every other first term sitting president, and somehow this equates to it being "all about Trump."

    Lol...

And Roy Cooper has been a horrible governor. I can't wait for Dan Forest to be elected.

In case you haven't noticed, 2020 is not a normal year.

Forest is a joke, which, unfortunately, does not mean he won't be elected.

Maybe NC just doesn't have adequate facilities.

I know. Just mentioning I wouldn’t mind Arkansas getting the GOP money.
