Excellent! Continuing down the road to a more normal flow to life in the United States of America.

“Churchill Downs Racetrack announced that after consultation with Gov. Andy Beshear and state public health officials the 146th runnings of the Kentucky Derby and Longines Kentucky Oaks will occur with spectators under strict guidelines.

Kentucky Derby Week will be held Sept. 1-5 with the Oaks on Friday, Sept. 4 and the Derby on Saturday, Sept. 5.

That's great news.

To the writer of the headline, specifically the words "Churchill Downs TO ALLOW Spectators", you get an "F". How about "Churchill Downs open to the Public on Limited Basis" or somesuch, anything to get away from the thought that we are privileged to be given permission to go outside.

Only reformed view it as limited freedom?

On a brighter note. All work will come to an end very soon. Then ALL, at least those living, will enjoy life without work. Although all task given by Jesus Christ, the Lamb, will not seem like work at all. We will be busy doing eternal endeavors, that will not be physically burned up in the end.

What in the world are you going on about Calvinism in a thread about Churchill Downs? Or about work? Or eternal endeavors?

The Gospel is every where:

To allow (all)

or

On limited basis.

Reformed theology wants to change the wording every where.

Just thought it interesting how people's thinking reflects in society.
