It is thought that Melania Trump is a Roman Catholic although she is not in good standing.

Ivanka, when she married Jared Kushner, also in New York real estate, a tough way to go. Kushner had to clean up a family mess--I think that he has a big mortgage on an office building. An Indianapolis CPA once told me that there is no money in real estate. I agree. He was talking about commercial real estate, especially office buildings. This pandemic is taking a heavy toll on real estate. No one wants to go downtown Indianapolis after 3 murders there this summer during the riots. Also, many people are now working from home forever so companies need less space. Finally, restaurants are going out of business, leaving behind a lot of stand-alone stores. Interest rates are near zero and the Fed says that they will stay that way until 2022. Look, Trump is going to have to produce a plan to cut the size of the federal government and start paying down the debt. The federal government should have a permanent hiring freeze and not replace people who leave federal government employment.

I learned something when I visited Denmark many years ago. They always (and I mean always) referred to the head NAZI as "Mr. Hitler." Mr. Biden and Ms Harris should be honored likewise.

The new green policy plan if fully implemented was belive set for around 92 trillion dollars! One payer medical system would be around 34 trillion by itself!

OK, I have to correct some things...the Green New Deal is a Manhattan Project of 2 Trillion dollars over four years. I am dubious, because I do not know if R&D can create breakthrough technologies in that time span even with that much money.

Now, yes, the amount for a truly socialized medicine is Bernie's plan that cost ~32 Trillion over ten years. Then again, Biden fought Bernie hard on that issue, saying it was unworkable due to expense. Just providing the honest truth. I don't support Joe Biden.

It is unjust to do what our government did. It exposes the sordid underbelly of modern politics. That lobbying and backroom deals can come about with no sense of constitution or justice.

Morality can be defined as a system of ideas about right and wrong conduct. ... The traditional view of social scientists has been that morality is a construct, and is thus culturally relative, although others argue that there is a science of morality.

    Interesting Galli quotes:

“One thing I like about both Orthodoxy and Catholicism is that you have to do these things, whether you like it or not, whether you’re in the mood or not, sometimes whether you believe or not. You just have to plow ahead. I want that. If it’s left up to me, I am one lazy son-of-a-bitch. I will not do anything unless someone comes along and says, ‘You need to do this. This is really important. This will shape your life. Come on, Galli. Get off your butt.’”

“The Mass is a perfect Mark Galli service,” he said. “There’s no singing. There are no hymns. The homily is five minutes. The whole service is 25 minutes. They give you a single thought, a single illustration, a quote, and you’re done. Wow.”

“The church is deeply in need of reform,” he conceded. “I’m not joining this holy institution that has it all right. I want to be one with these Christians who I think represent the true church in some sense.”

Some churches believe scripture must be interpreted by other people, and you must go along with those interpretations. These are the "top down" groups, such as RCC and Reformed. They differ greatly, so one or both are compelling acceptance of false doctrines.

Now Baptists certainly believe wrongly in part as well, but we believe if we find a better view, we can change in a New York minute. We are set against those who would use force (i.e. state mandated religion) to foster truth.
