More covid lockdown rebellion

That rule does not apply to rich Democrats eating at 5-star restaurants.

 

I have not attended the indoor services my church has been having since the weather turned colder.

Later this week week a notice was sent out that we had a few volunteers that came down with the virus. No one has been hospitalized to my knowledge though.

But as a result, indoor services have been curtailed through Thanksgiving. We will continue to offer online services.

During our recent Annual Church Business Meeting (extended to those in quarantine by Zoom) it was reported that attendance has broken records if on-line viewership is included.

God has truly blessed us in this time of upheaval.

I believe as a Christian that I should obey the laws and authority figures, unless it requires disobeying God's higher authority. And I have learned that sometimes includes protecting MYSELF. God has entrusted my body into my care and I am responsible to keep it safe and sound.

I moved out of my high-rise building in a democrat city, so that I would not be faced with difficult decisions so often. I was being ordered to self-neglect. I was given the chance to move. I moved. So far, other than being asked to wear a mask as I walk outside in 115+ degree weather, I have not been asked to do anything that would qualify as self-neglect or be in conflict with my beliefs.

I wear a mask indoors and when I am STATIONARY outdoors and in close contact to other people, like a line in front of an ATM machine. I do the best I can to respect those that God has placed over me.

I do not wear a mask outside. I do not wear a mask inside my house. The state forces us to wear masks at work but there are no N95 masks available. Also, the state forces us to wear masks in stores.

So I only shop for food and a handful of necessities. The other merchants can go under as far as I am concerned. I voted against our Governor but his opponent was worse than he is.

This 3rd wave must be young people because we killed off a lot of the elderly already.

Everyone seems to be sick and tired of these generally ineffective lockdowns. Almost everyone is wearing masks so they evidently are useless to some degree. About 99 % of infected people get well. People with money are going to South Dakota for the holidays.

 

In most pandemics, it is the rich that spread the new illness into new areas. They have the resources to travel the farthest. Then once it takes hold, it is the poor that suffer the most, at least initially. I heard that the Black plague led to an increase in worker wages and better working conditions.

 

Generally true as far as I know. The Chinese travelled all around the world before countries wised up. They should have quarantined themselves in the name of humanity.

Indianapolis will take 20 years to come back. Indy has too many crowded apartment complexes and too many people jammed on city buses. There are very few high-paying jobs for working people in Indianapolis. It is almost an all black city.
