Easily. The guy was falsely accused of something that he did not do by the media itself who slandered the guy.

I am not sure, @canadyjd , that they are protected because they were making conclusions rather than reporting. It seems that this is similar to Nick Sandmann's case and I suspect will be settled rather than continue to court.

I don’t think they named him or put his picture out there like Nick, only that the story violated policy concerning hacked material. Hard to make a case they falsely accused him of anything, imo, without those elements.

I dont think its that cut and dry. There is annattorney willing to take on twitter. Not likely to do so frivolously
