    Not at all, as many point towards Jesus saying that the Holy Spirit would be in them and bring to their remembering all things as proof of their inspiration!

    Name one scholarly source which interprets Jesus as considering inspired Scripture to be the future canon.

    Inconsistent. Either God or the human writers chose those words. Make up your mind. Who framed the revelation of God into the words expressing those revelations?

    The answer to the original question is a definite no, because that would be double inspiration. God didn't inspire translations, he only inspired the authors of Biblical Writ. To say otherwise is heterodox. That being said, I'm a majority text advocate myself. But I hold to that loosely because I am not a trained textual critic, and I know enough to know that I don't know that much.

    Yes, the Majority Text is the Byzantine tradition, or some call in the Antiochian Text. I use that text because it seems to me that the churches stewardship of the Majority Text seems to have been dominant until the 20th century. Though I prefer the NKJV over the KJV because if has different readings in the margin, so it seems to me the best of both worlds. Having said that, I don't discount the NASB. I'm not TR, or MT only by any means.

    Sounds like we agree, as while I [refer CT and modern translations off it, do also like the Nkjv and the Kjv!
