A local church in El Monte California was bombed, but the news report was written to enhance the bombers viewpoint!

    1) First we are told the church has "extremest views."

    2) Then we are told the church "condemns same sex marriage."

    3) Then we are told the church advocated executing gay people.

    4) However, the source for this claim was not the church, but an unaffiliated "hate speech expert."

    5) Then we are told the church bombing was not yet considered a "hate crime."

    6) We are told some residents called the church doctrine "hate speech" at a town meeting.

    7) The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has put the church on its "watch" list.

    8) But then we are told the SPLC is the source for the claim the church advocated executing gay people.

    9) Then we are told an "affiliated Pastor" rejoiced at the shooting at the gay Pluse club in Florida.

    10) Then claims by the NYT are cited as evidence, but no quotes from those who were bombed.

    11) Next the leader of the SPLC claims the church believes homosexual behavior is the "unforgivable sin."

Basically only one side of the social divide was presented.

It's how the church was reported on in Russia during the Cold War.

    Two things:
    1) The church is scripturally wrong on its position regarding interracial marriage. The pastor is an outright racist.
    2) This explosion is likely a hate crime as a response to the pastor's own hate speech.

There seems to be no grace or mercy at this church. It seems appropriate that the church has "works" in its title as the church is not a Godly representation of our King, Lord Jesus. This church does not represent Christ Jesus and His teaching regarding humanity.
The destruction of this church property is wicked and I hope the person's responsible are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I also hope the pastor and congregation repent of the hatred and evil speech they are using in the name of Christ. Their speech is from hell and all Christians should condemn them for the vile things they say.

First - why are you mentioning "racist" when the link was about h0mosexu@l?
Second - so what if the church is (supposedly) wrong on interracial marriage' A church may have the right to believe as it sees fit. We may not agree - but that is their church.

You State that the pastor is a racist. Based on what? Just because a pastor will not marry a interracial couple does NOT mean he is racist.
Would you say a pastor is wrong if he refused to marry two people of different religions, or of two different countries?

Key word is different! If a couple have difference - those things need to be worked out.
Suppose she loves Christmas - and Santa Clause - but Dad believes it is a sin to allow children to believe in Santa.
Suppose Dad is a dedicated church goer and attends every church service about the Easter Season - but she believes That Christ was crucified on Thurs and refuses to attend Good Friday service.
Suppose that she is a vegeterain and he demands meat and potatoes at every meal.
suppose that he is a far left environment - and will not own a car - public transportation is sufficient - but she can not live without a car
Suppose that met at College in St Louis, but he is from Boston and she is from LA - He demands that they live in Boston - she only agrees if she can fly home to see her parents at least 3 times a year. (but he balks at the amount of money that would cost)
Suppose he loves to watch TV constantly, but she believes the TV is the Devils box.
Suppose she is black, he is white and her parents are racist - and want nothing to do with their soon to be son-in-law.. and his parents want nothing to do with a black daughter-in-law.
    Suppose...........

OH. The bombing was justified, then. Like Jesus said, If you're doing right, all men will love you.

Aaron, did you even read what I wrote?
There is no justifying terrorism and bombing, just as there is no justifying racism, hatred of homosexuals and speaking hate to another person.

    Matthew 5:43-48
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
